We had a chat with Richard Acquaah the right back of Legion Cities FC. Here is what he had to say.

1. What inspired you to become a professional football player?

The passion and the professionalism of the game.

2. What has been your most memorable moment playing in the Ghana Premier League?

The away game we won against Karela FC it was best memorable game for me, if we had lost we were going to be relegated (this happened two weeks ago at the time of writing this blog)

3. What do you think sets the Ghana Premier League apart from other leagues in Africa?

It is the great league l have played in my life.

4. How has your experience been playing for your current team?

Awesome experience because expectation for me feeling good in my club sometimes l will be paid or sometimes not is great experience

5. Who is the toughest opponent you have faced in the Ghana Premier League?

lssac Oppong from Asante Kotoko FC, he is an amazing player.

6. How do you stay motivated to perform at a high level throughout the season?

Money,accommodation, food and good advice.

 

7. What do you think can be done to improve the overall quality of the Ghana Premier League?

Good pitches and sponsorships and quality players as well.

 

8. What are your goals?

To make my dreams come true and make sure my club is in a good position in the league.

9. What advice would you give to young aspiring football players in Ghana?

They should work hard and pray hard too respect elderly people and listen to good advice because hard work pays
